How do I change my flavors selection for my GIO Club deliveries?

You can change your flavors selection any time by log in to your account. Changing your flavors is very straight forward. To make it easier we created a short YouTube video on our blog to explain how to change your flavor selection. 

Please note: flavors can be changed only for new order. If you already renew your subscription, the changes will become effective only with the following billing & delivery cycle. The credit card transaction trigger the generation of your new delivery orders using the flavor selection on file at the time of the payment.

Why some flavor is not available to GIO Club members?

While big commercial ice-cream brands have an assortment of long-lasting gelato flavors always available regardless of the season, at GIO Gelati, every single flavor is made fresh every week only from fresh ingredients. The ice-cream you buy at your local supermarket might have been sitting on the shelf for a few months. 
Our authentic Italian gelato is different. We make our gelato exclusively at our artisanal production lab in San Francisco on Union Street. We do not use preservatives, and we pride ourselves in making no compromises on quality by preparing and serving only fresh, just made gelato. For example, if one week we do not find perfectly ripe nectarines, we simply stop making nectarine gelato.
We only produce a limited set of flavors every week. We can't make all gelato flavors available all the time. We committed to offering about 15 different flavors available to our members, some are always available, like stracciatella, while others come and go with the season.
In our stores, we can afford to be slightly more flexible by adding and removing flavors on a daily base. The planning required by our subscription program doesn't allow the same freedom.

We always try to balance our passion for authentic and fresh gelato with the commitment to offer a rich and seasonally updated flavor selection for our GIO Club members.

How do I cancel my subscription to GIO Club?

Canceling your subscription is very easy: just send an email to us at

We will cancel your subscription ASAP. Usually it takes less than 24 hours to cancel a subscription.

How do I change my subscription from SOLO to GUSTO or from GUSTO to SOLO?

Changing your subscription is very easy. You can go from SOLO (3 pints) to GUSTO (5 mezzo boxes) or vice versa anytime. Just send an email to us at
